I love a great bakery. The sweets, breads, and coffee make them so hard to resist. One bakery I’ve been able to sample is Manderfield’s Home Bakery. My sister will pick up one of their irresistible tortes for a birthday or other special occasion. The tortes are a rich and elegant version of a cake. Manderfield’s has their Elite which comes in 7” rounds serving 8-10 people as well as Daily Delights which comes in two sizes an 8” round serving 10 people or a 10” round serving 12 people. The combinations include but are not limited to Chocolate Symphony, Raspberry Cordial, French Silk Gateau, Carrot Cake, and an assortment of seasonal varieties. A few years ago, we tried the Red Velvet and Chocolate Symphony for my husband’s 30th birthday. Both were mouth-watering treats.
This month we celebrated my mom’s birthday with one of Manderfield’s newest tortes: Sinfully Snickers. The layers were rich, creamy, and so delicious. Everyone at the gathering enjoyed this newest addition to Manderfield’s tortes.
Although I have not personally visited the bakery, I will have to make a point to check it out next time I’m in the area. Manderfield’s has all the rest of the bakery standards: donuts, danishes, cookies, breads, bagels, muffins, and cakes. If you have an occasion coming up, I’d recommend trying one of their tortes. They are beautiful and will be all the rage at your gathering. You can find a Manderfield’s at three different locations: Appleton West, Appleton East, and Menasha.
