I always think of this song on the last day. This year we had to go particularly long due to the record breaking snow day in March where we had over two feet of snow. What I’ve noticed this spring is that I have been slightly absent on the blogosphere–I mean a post a month is not really keeping my readers in the loop. So, here is a quick update.
This spring we are working with a builder to build a new house. It’s an incredibly exciting undertaking that has consumed much of my time. But, the process is super exciting as I’m able to see different elements of the process come together each week. It’s amazing and my girls have been excited about it, too.
So, we will be moving sometime this summer. I’m hoping to pull together a post on some tips I’ve compiled for moving. Stay tuned as that is for a future post.
Also, school is finally out, so I’m ready to spend lots of time with my two girls. They are growing up so fast. I’m looking at library storytimes, park picnic, and pool times. Check out this post I wrote last summer on fun things to get you out of the house. They are all on our to-do-list again this summer.
Lastly, I’m looking forward to a family trip to Charleston, SC. This trip will be with my parents, sisters, and their spouses. I’m so excited about the amazing food scene that Charleston has to offer. I’m planning on having some new blog posts about the places I’m able to discover and try. If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments!
Well, that’s what has been going on here at 365 Days of New. I’ve been keeping up with my Facebook page a little better. Posting about fun fashionable items or great deals I’ve spotted. It’s been a great side hobby to this blog. You can check it out here.
What are your summer plans? I’d love to hear about them in the comments.
