My Fall FabFitFun Fall box just arrived which means it is time to talk last season’s box: Summer 2018. By getting down to the nitty gritty of what worked for me and what did not. This is a different take on a reveal box. Instead of revealing the items to you without ever using them, I will rate my success with each product after using them for several months. No spoilers here.
For those that don’t know about FabFitFun, it is a quarterly subscription box that is truly awesome! Each box comes with 6-9 items. It’s a little steeper than some subscription boxes at $50 a box, but you only get it 4 times a year and get over $250 worth of products!
The bonus is that these are FULL size high quality products. I usually get two to three beauty/facial items and three “other” items like candles, planners, accessories, etc. I’ve found that even if I only like two of the items, those two items typically equal out to double the cost I paid for the box. Plus, I LOVE trying out new products.
With that, I’d like to talk about the products from the 2018 Summer Box with a focus on which ones were my favorite must buy items.
2018 Summer FabFitFun Box Products
1. Yumi Kim Makeup Train Case – $58

This makeup case is awesome. I’ve used it for travel and now am using it to hold all of my nail care products. There is a dedicated space for brushes, zippered pocket to hold small items, and a huge compartment for all the extras. The pattern is pretty and material is a nice quality and easy to wash with soap and water. ∗∗∗∗∗
You can find the same makeup case here and the other solid version here (affiliate links).
2. tarte tarteist TM PRO to go palette & sex kitten liquid liner – $43

There are just the right amount of shades in this palette. I like the neutrality of the eyeshadows. They are all shimmery however, so I prefer to pair the simmers with a matte. The eyeliner has a great point and stays put. Plus, the super cute kitty is on the end of this product. How could one resist?! Overall, a great set for travel. ∗∗∗∗∗
Free shipping on this one here ($24). This is just the palette. For the eyeliner you can find it here— be sure to select ship to store to avoid shipping costs on the eyeliner ($20). (affiliate links)
3. ELEMIS Papaya Enzyme Peel- $45
This peel is nice and creamy. It goes on more like a heavy cream than a standard mask. It left my skin feeling soft and subtle. ∗∗∗∗ ∗
Find it in multiple locations of your choice here and here, or get a start up kit here (affiliate links).
4. Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator- $29
This item is as great face cleaner. It exfoliates gently and is recommended for use 3-5 times a week. I wish it was a daily cleaner, but no regrets on this one. ∗ ∗ ∗ ∗ ∗
Find the product here (affiliate link).
5. Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Gel – $39
The scents in this muscle gel are awesome! It leaves a slight cooling sensation on your skin. I use this at night to help me calm down and get ready for sleep, but you could use this anytime of day. It does not leave sticky residue and dries quickly. It is a great destressor and would be great on your temples to keep calm at work. ∗∗∗∗∗
Buy this product at a location on your choice here or here (affiliate links).
6. Foreo Luna TM fofo – $89
Well, this is the one item I cannot really review as I have not tried it yet. It requires downloading an app, which I have done, but I can’t get myself to take the time to learn how to use it. This is an exclusive item to FabFitFun subscribers. It think once it’s set up it will be easy to use, but I’ll actually have to find the device–misplaced in our move–and give it a whirl. I’ll update this once I finally take those step. Sorry.
You can now find this item here and here, so perhaps some of you will be intrigued enough to give it a try (affiliate links).
7. Coola Face Sports SPF 50 White Tea Moisturizer – $32
I love Coola suncare products. They smell great and work wonderfully! I highly recommend this product. The white tea has a soft floral smell. It is note greasy and a perfect everyday face sunscreen. ∗∗∗∗∗
Find it here, here, here, and here! Lots of options for this product. (affiliate links)
8. Pier 1 Imports Marble Ring Dish – $14.99
I have this pretty little dish sitting next to my sink adorned with earrings, rings, and other small things. It’s such a great place to drop all those little pieces that you wear daily. I love this item. ∗∗∗∗∗
The Pier 1 dish is sold out online, but have no fear, I’ve found several oh so similar options here and here. (affiliate links)
I enjoyed all of the items in the summer box and find myself using the marble ring dish and Coola SPF Face Moisturizer the most.
Overall, the Spring Box was worth the $50 I paid. The total value for this box is between $321.99 to $367.99 depending on the choice items selected! So, I always get my money’s worth! This is one of my favorite boxes yet, as I have really enjoyed everything in it!
Note: The link to FabFitFun is a referral link. If you decide you’d like to give this box a try, I’d love for you to use the referral link. As all referrals go, I get a small one time bonus for referring you to this service. FabFitFun did not pay me for any of this feedback; it is 100% my own because I think it is a neat subscription service, and I love blogging about it. I truly love it, and I’ve told all my friends, so now I’ve also told you. #365daysofnew
It looks like you get some great stuff but my favorite is the marble ring dish! That is SO pretty. I’m going to have to track one down for myself.
Great post!

I still use it on my bathroom counter to drop in rings and earrings I wear regularly. It’s the best! Here’s a similar one for only $10! https://amzn.to/2U5Ll6G (ad)
