Each month I try to choose a challenge that not only interests me, but also benefits me in some way. Last month, I did 30 days of yoga, the month before I worked on my savings account, and the month before that I decluttered and organized my house. This month I am tackling the piles of books I’ve started but have yet to finish. Yes, piles.
I’m an avid reader, but one of my downfalls is that I start a lot of books and take my sweet time finishing them. Currently, I have six books I’ve started, one I haven’t started but must complete this month, and an audiobook I’d like to conquer. That’s a whole lot of reading! So for the month of April–showers or no showers–I need to find some serious reading time to clear the space on my nightstand.
This month I will complete, in no particular order…
- Last of Her Name
- Positively Izzy
- Anything But Okay
- Impostors
- Making Bombs for Hitler
- Pretend She is Here
- The Last Black Unicorn
- Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet
- The Girl in the Letter
After writing this, I’m certain this will be one crazy challenge. 😂 Root me on this month. I’ll keep you posted on my progress, and I challenge you to make a book goal for yourself– even if it’s just to finish one!

Ooooh, I love this challenge! Nine books is a LOT but I’m confident you can do it! It also looks like you’ve got some really good reads planned! Good luck!
