30 Day Challenges

Week one – Reading Frenzy Challenge

Hello readers,

Time to update you on my reading challenge for my 30 Day Challenge this month–read about it here. The goal is to finish all 9 books on my list. Most of which I’ve started, but have yet to finish, and the rest I need to start and read this month.

Below is my list:

  • Last of Her Name
  • Positively Izzy ✅
  • Anything But Okay
  • Impostors
  • Making Bombs for Hitler
  • Pretend She is Here
  • The Last Black Unicorn ✅
  • Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet
  • The Girl in the Letter

This week I finished two books.

The Last Black Unicorn

It’s a memoir about comedian Tiffany Haddish. It’s funny, vulgar, and sheds light on domestic violence, foster care, and the American Dream.

Positively Izzy

A relatable middle grade book about a girl who feels she fails to fit in with her peers. It’s a mix of a graphic novel and comic. The book reconnects to the beginning showing that what happens to you as a teen is likely to happen to so many. Essentially, you are not alone.
